Acid Buf® is a natural, slow release rumen conditioner / buffer manufactured from calcareous marine algae harvested off the coast of Ireland and Iceland. Acid Buf has a unique honeycomb structure of calcified seaweed which offers a greater surface area for acid absorption preventing rumen pH from dropping below the critical level. It is also used in pig diets to reduce problems associated with excess acidity in the digestive system.
