Danisco Animal Nutrition

Only the best animal feed

High performance, high safety and higher profits - there are many good reasons to use our feed enzymes. Marketed under the brand names Avizyme®, Grindazym™, Phyzyme® and Porzyme®, our portfolio tackles the major feed issues that face feed manufacturers and pig and poultry producers today.

Countering variations in feed quality is always a challenge. Our enzymes can both reduce feed ingredient variability and enhance digestibility - ensuring pigs and poultry extract optimum nutrition out of the feed they consume. That way meat and egg producers can be sure of a consistent growth rate or egg production, at the same time keeping feed costs to a minimum.

A number of safety and environmental issues are easily solved by supplementing feed with enzymes. In antibiotic growth promoter feed free, our enzymes help to maintain animal production and profitability. Our phytase feed enzyme improves the digestibility of feed phosphorus which means that less phosphorus is excreted by animals into the environment. Not only that, trials have shown that Avizyme improves the overall digestibility of poultry feed, reducing the amount of nutrients reaching the bird’s small intestine. Consequently fewer nutrients are available for growth of bacteria such as Campylobacter and Salmonella within the gut and this contributes to food safety by lowering the risk of carcass contamination.

Huvepharma

Hostazym X® microGranulate or liquid
Hostazym X is a feed enzyme preparation derived from the fungus Trichoderma longibrachiatum for use in broiler diets, which contain wheat and/ or rye as a major feed ingredient.  Hostazym X significantly reduces the anti-nutritive effects of the Non-Starch-Polysaccharides (NSPs) contained in wheat and rye.  As a multi-enzyme preparation, Hostazym X also contains cellulase, alpha-amylase, protease and hemicellulase side activities.  It improves the utilization of nutrients in feed containing wheat, rye, triticale, wheat mixed feed, soy meal and rapeseed meal (30 – 70%).

Three microGranulate formulations are available, at inclusion rates 100 g/ tonne, 250 g/ tonne and 500 g/ tonne, containing respectively 15000, 6000, and 3000 EPU Endo-1,4-beta xylanase.  Liquid formulations are also available.

Hostazym C® microGranulate or liquid
Hostazym C is a feed enzyme preparation derived from the fungus Trichoderma longibrachiatum for use in broiler diets, which contain barley as a major feed ingredient.  Hostazym C significantly reduces the anti-nutritive effects of the Non-Starch-Polysaccharides (NSPs) contained in barley.  As a multi-enzyme preparation, Hostazym C also contains xylanase, hemicellulase, alpha-amylase and protease side activities.  It improves the utilization of nutrients in feed containing barley, oats, barley+ wheat and sunflower meal and cake (30 – 60%).  As the barley and oats grains have a high content of beta-glucans as well as pentosans, the second most important component of the Hostazym preparation is xylanase.

Three microGranulate formulations are available, at inclusion rates 100 g/ tonne, 250 g/ tonne and 500 g/ tonne, containing respectively 5000, 2000, and 1000 CU Endo-1,4-beta glucanase activity per gram of product as the major active principle for incorporation into rations.

Loders Croklaan

LODERS CROKLAAN is the world’s leading supplier in innovative speciality oils and fats. In the animal feed industry, Loders Croklaan is known for its distribution of special fat blends, CLA, fatty acids and feed ingredients.

In the Loders Croklaan’s range of feed improvers we are proud to offer the range of LodeStar Enzymes. Enzymes are the catalysts of all biochemical reactions in living organisms. Feed enzymes are used to improve the nutrional value of feeds for poultry, pigs and ruminants. Most important feed stuffs, such as leguminoses and cereals, contain Non Starch Polysaccharides (NSP). These NSP’s are affecting the digestibility negatively, which results in a decreased economical performance of farm animals. LodeStar enzymes are especially developed to break down the NSP fraction in various feed stuffs in order to improve the performance of farm animals. The break down of non-starch polysaccharides and oligosaccharides by LodeStar enzymes increases the release of mono-saccharides and enhances the performance of endogenous enzymes during the break down of proteins and carbohydrates. Especially, the enzymes developed for com/soy diets, which are used in large parts of the world, have proven to enhance the economical performance of mono-gastric animals. LodeStar enzymes are both available as single enzymes or as custom made enzyme blends.
