Albany manufactures the FF range of nylon gear pumps formerly made in Ireland where they are widely used in feed mills. For molasses Albany offer Model G2, a 2” gear pumps, complete with relief valve to deliver 1 litre/revolution. Model G2 sells for half the price of its cast iron equivalent. For fats and oils Model G125, a 1¼” gear pump, delivers up to 50 litres/min. This pump is unheated. The nylon material retains heat due to its low heat conduction. Model G125 sells for less than one third of Albany stainless steel model.
